My first real electric guitar was a 1978 Antigua Fender Telecaster that my dad bought me used in 1979/1980. I foolishly traded it for a low-end Ibanez Iceman one day. I've pretty much regretted it ever since. Anyway, as it turns out these things are pretty rare. I was looking for one for 3 years before I got this one. In that time frame, only 3 came up for sale at all that I found. The one I had back in the 80's had a maple neck. I'm still debating if I want to replace the neck on this with a maple one.
